Berlin-based, Caribbean-American singer, lyricist & songwriter, Sera Kalo has appeared on over 23 albums produced in Germany and Asia which include an album and ep from her one of her first projects, Seraleez. Her work has received nominations for the 2020 Listen to Berlin Publikumpreis, 2023 Listen to Berlin Most Creative Music Video Award, and most recently the 2023 German Record Critics’ Award for her debut album, eXante which she co-produced. As a genre-fluid artist, Sera is not bound by any specific genre or style, allowing her to experiment with different sounds and create music that is uniquely her own. Her creativity has led to her becoming a 2024 recipient of the Female* Producer’s Prize sponsored by Music Women Gemany and Sony Music Entertainment.Her influences, however, may still be heard through hints of neo-soul, hip hop, pop, jazz, electronic, Brazilian and Caribbean musical styles.
