The Berlin-based Caribbean-American singer, lyricist, and songwriter Sera Kalo has contributed to over 23 albums produced in Germany and Asia, including an album and an EP from one of her early projects, Seraleez. Her work has earned nominations for the Listen to Berlin Audience Award 2020, the Listen to Berlin Most Creative Music Video Award 2023, and most recently, the German Record Critics' Award 2023 for her debut album "eXante", which she co-produced. As a genre-crossing artist, Sera is not confined to a specific genre or style, allowing her to experiment with various sounds and create music that is unique. Her creativity led to her being awarded the Female* Producer's Prize in 2024, sponsored by Music Women Germany and Sony Music Entertainment. Her influences can be heard through elements of neo-soul, hip-hop, pop, jazz, electronic, Brazilian, and Caribbean music styles.
