Indie Pop and Score Maestra – Crafting Sonic Stories as Composer and Music Producer

Maxi Menot is a Berlin-based, certified composer and music producer with an extensive portfolio spanning film scores, television, recordings, and theater productions.

She has established partnerships with industry giants such as Universal, Warner, and BMG, boasting an impressive catalog of 30 albums, including three recordings with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg. Her work also includes the score for the multi-award-winning feature film "We Might As Well Be Dead", which was shortlisted as Germany's entry for the Oscars.

Her music reflects the expertise of a trained musician, whether she is working on pop productions, neo-classical pieces, or intricate orchestral compositions. Her remarkable ability lies in connecting different musical worlds, crafting pop songs that are both catchy and unexpectedly surprising, or transforming impressionistic orchestral works into cinematic soundscapes.

In addition, Maxi is a co-founder of the composer collective TRACK15 and runs her own publishing company, Edition B+, which primarily focuses on female artists and film music.
